More About Me

My fascination with human nature, relationships, and well-being has always been a guiding force in my life. I'm committed to understanding what fosters individual and familial potential. To me, 'potential' is a unique and personal concept for each individual, and I strive to honour this by promoting cooperation, recognising different perspectives, and treating everyone with respect.

My journey has provided me with a myriad of opportunities to serve diverse populations, from children and teens to parents, entire families, foster carers, and fellow professionals in the helping field. This range of experiences in settings like schools, mental health clinics, youth residentials and family homes, has reinforced my belief that recognising  each person's uniqueness, background, aspirations, principles, objectives, strengths, plans, and priorities is essential.

My enthusiasm lies in the heart of comprehending and aiding people, and placing importance on the role of relationships - both those that exist in the present and those that have shaped us in the past.

In my profession, this enthusiasm expands beyond merely providing counselling services to community members. It also involves nurturing other professionals in the helping field. It's just as rewarding to witness and support fellow professionals' growth on their personal journey, as they commit themselves to assist others.

Please note I do not provide a crisis service.  If you require crisis support please contact Lifeline (13 11 14), or seek emergency services support by calling 000 or presenting to your local hospital Accident and Emergency Department.
